I’m Steve Norton a hypnotherapist, anxiety specialist, motivational speaker, and a true believer in positive thought. Thank you for visiting my website. My therapy strategies bear heavily on my own experiences and over 15 years working with people who suffer from some form of fear. As a former anxiety attack sufferer for most of my life I know how it feels to live with fear and low confidence. Thankfully my own experiences and how I battled to free myself from these conditions, have allowed me to treat people like you in a whole new way. This means we can cut the amount of time it would normally take to change the behaviours that cause the symptoms in the first place. I decided to distil this information in book form. Together we can break the habitual patterns that just get repeated because you know no other way.

Steve's background
Qualified as Hypnotherapist / psychotherapist: 23.02.95. Trained at Natural Therapy Centre / International College of Holistic Medicines,7 Westgate Road, Guisborough.
Qualifications: Medical Diploma in Hypnotherapy / Psychotherapy. Member of I.C.H.M. Registered member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, and the Hypnotherapy Register. I am also an Approved TFT Algorithm Practitioner
The Technique
Having qualified as a clinical Hypnotherapist in 1995 I have had the opportunity to create my own personal style of pro-active therapy which I am proud to say is around 95% effective for reducing anxiety with my personal clients. I am also an Approved T.F.T Algorithm Practitioner.
The technique I use I simply call Thought Re-training. Created and originated by Steve Norton, Thought Re-training is a set of techniques, strategies and philosophies that when combined help change the thought processes of a person to that of a more potent human being. It changes and re-patterns the old negative thought patterns from the negative to that of the wise.
It also reprograms the mind so that the negative thought patterns are blocked and replaced by clear wise thinking. Thought Re-Training is a powerful combination of psychological tools, which break down into eight principles, which retrain and retune certain parts of the mind namely the conscious and subconscious minds so that they are balanced again. To put it into simple terms: It teaches you how to use you mind correctly. With Thought Re-Training we can eradicate annoying symptoms such as: Stress, anxiety, panic attacks, low self confidence, compulsive behaviour, fears and phobias and anything else that could stand in your way of living the life you want.
How do I know if I need to use Thought Re-Training? It's simple, do you suffer from any of the below symptoms.
Over active mind: You can't shut off your thoughts and they won't go away.
Confusion: Your thoughts are confused and you can't think clearly like you have fog on the brain
Depression: You get frequently depressed and wonder what is the point of your life
Anxiety: You feel tense or anxious most of the time and you can't seem to relax.
Stress: You get stressed over the littlest things and blow things out of proportion only to regret it later.
Frustration: You can't seem to get out of the rut and you feel like your going around in circles.

Insomnia: Your mind won't shut off at night and your thoughts keep you awake.
